WE DRAW LINES @ The Poundshop, London Design Festival

P + B have been operating a production line of late in prepartaton for The Poundshop, which takes place as part of the London Design Festival this week.

What_ The product on sale is called Joint Effort, which is a set of four pencil-rulers which have been restructured to connect at various different measures. They are available in yellow, blue, red, pink and green.

Why_ Our studio operates as a collaborative exchange of ideas and design processes within which the concept of ‘measuring’ an individual’s ownership of an idea is void.
We thought it would be fun to formulate this into a recognisable functioning object referencing notions of duality, notation and quantity.
