Occasional graphic design studio
We Draw Lines came across the term 'occasional design studio' in the book Studio Culture, Unit Editions, in an interview with the design studio Lehni-Trub (Switzerland). Our decision to integrate and utilise this term stems from an observation and belief that this is a model, which consistently exists but currently functions as a bridge elsewhere within the sector. This model seeks to maximise the opportunities available to smaller outfits and determine realistic goals in comparison and/or contrast to the traditional studio structure. The intention is to celebrate these restrictions rather than to undermine the potential of smaller independent initatives.
